HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-08427oRiANANCE No 34 7 AN EMERGENCE' ORDINANCE AMEND/NO ORDINANCE NO, 8316, THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE Pok THE FISCAL YtAk 1974-75, BY APPRoPRI- ATING AN ADbiTIONAL $4,101.90 FioM UN- AN 'ICIPATtb REVENUES AND, ADDING THAT TO THE PUBLICITY FUND PoR THE 1975 INTER- NATIONAL POLX FESTIVAL AND INTERNATIONAL BALL; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT, IN SOMA AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,. the International Folk Festival and Inter- national' Ball has become one of the major summer attractions in Miami reflecting the Latin-American Festival atmosphere and contributing essential revenues towards the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, total revenues were estimated at $15,500, and actually total $19,601.90 at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Ordinance No.8316, the Appropriation Ordinance for the City of Miami for the fiscal year 1974-75, is hereby amended by appropriating' an additional $4,101.90 from unanticipated revenues'and adding that to the,Publicity Fund. for the 1975 International Folk Festival and International Ball Section 2. All. ordinances, code sections or parts thereof in conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict, are hereby repealed. Section. 3. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission.
