THE CITY MANAGER TO REJECT ALL 1AMS AN1 TO

WHEREAS, bids Were received May 2S, 1975 for the ORANGE
13OWL - WATER MA IN IMPROVEMENTS = 1975; and
WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Minority Systems, Inc.
on June 5, 1975 by Resolution No, 75-543, who was the lowest responsive
bid, in the amount of $35, 245; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Miami to
rescind the awarding resolution, to reject all bids received, and to
readvertise for new bids;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Minority Systems, Inc. for the
ORANGE BOWL - WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS - 1975, at a total cost
of $35,245.00 be, and it is hereby, rejected.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, author-
ized to reject all bids received and to readvertise.

Bids were received May 23, 1975 for the Orange Bowl
Improvements 1975. The bid of Minority Systetns, 111c.
in the amount of $35, 245. 00 was the lowest acceptable bid
and a contract was awarded to them at the Cotnrriission
Meeting of June 5, by Resolution No. 75.543.
Minority Systems, Inc. was unable to secure a 100%
Performance Bond and returned their contract unexecuted.
The Department of Public Works recommends adoption of
a resolution rejecting the bid awarded to Minority Sytems,
Inc. on June 5, 1975 by Resolution #75-543 for the Orange,
Bowl - Water Main Improvements - 1975; and Authorizing
the City Manager to readvertise.

WHEREAS, bids were received May n, 1975 for the ORANGE

WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Minority Systems, Inc.
on June 5, 1975 by Resolution No. 75-543, who was the lowest responsive
