AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER 'T0 ENTER INTO ANNUAL CONTRACTS WITH THESE SUPPLIERS POR THE PURCHASE OE SAID MATERIAL AS NEEDED. WHEREAS pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received June 10, 1975 for furnishing vehicle parts and accessories as needed on a contract basis for one (1) year from date of award for use by the Public Properties Department and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-two (22) potential suppliers and twelve (12) bids were received; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that it would be advantageous for the City to enter into annual contracts for the purchase of said parts in order to maintain stockrooms and shops to serve City vehicles and to insure minimum down time in order to return equipment to service as quickly as possible; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA Section 1.
