REFERLNCtS:
ENtLO UJRES:
On April 22 1975 the City of 1Vliatni Commission passed Resolution No. 75-40
which authorized the City Manager to advertise and receive proposals from
professional landscape architectural firms for professional design services
for Pt. Dallas Park. This memorandum responds to that resolution.
As a result of public advertisement and invitations to submit letters of interest
and a brochure describing the firri is professional experience and background,
the following six firms responded:
Ted l3a.ker Group
Ray Collins Associates
J. B. Reark
Henderson -Rosenberg and Associates
OtLeary-Shafer Associates
Jonathon Seymour and David Scully
The material submitted by each firm was reviewed and evaluated by the
Competitive Selection Committee appointed, by the City Manager. On the
basis of multi -disciplinary staff capabilities, a wide range of professional
experience, and a demonstrated excellence of design capability, the following
three firms were judged most qualified to perform the needed services and
are ranked in order of priority:
1. Jonathon Seymour and David Scully
2. Henderson -Rosenberg and Associates
3. Ray Collins Associates
It is my recommendation that the City Commission adopt a resolution authorizing
me to proceed with negotiations, in the order of priority as listed in this
memorandum.
