S9TH STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4292 AND ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OP $ 3 , 000.00 FROM THE HIGHWAY RONb PUNT POR PRELIMINARY tXPtNSE. WHEREAS, excessive on -street parking has led to rapid deterioration of pavement edges and side parkway areas; and WHEREAS, standing water due to inadequate drainage facilities has caused deterioration of the existing pavement and WHEREAS, excessive parking on dirt parkway areas has caused a serious dust problem; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. A local IMPROVEMENT described as N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 shall be made under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, located on the following streets: N.E. 59 Street (N.E. 2 Avenue to N.E. 4 Avenue) N.E. 3 Avenue (N.E. 58 Terrace to N.E-. 59 Terrace) Section 2. The aforesaid improvement shall include clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic concrete pave- ment consisting of 8-inch Limerock Base and a minimum of 11/2 inch asphaltic concrete surface course, concrete curb and gutter, concrete valley gutter, monolithic concrete curb and sidewalk, incidental sidewalk where needed, drainage facilities "DOCUMENT INDEX ITEM NO..3 ,r CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF JULi71-97a LUTip$ too., �"J ,Y 6,53 Avow; ,.. and landscapi ig .as specified and described in the Standard• City of Miami Spe fications for Public Works Projects.
