THE AMOUNT OP $ 3 , 000.00 FROM THE HIGHWAY

WHEREAS, excessive on -street parking has led to
rapid deterioration of pavement edges and side parkway areas;
and
WHEREAS, standing water due to inadequate drainage
facilities has caused deterioration of the existing pavement
and
WHEREAS, excessive parking on dirt parkway areas
has caused a serious dust problem;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local IMPROVEMENT described as N.E. 59
STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 shall be made under
Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended,
located on the following streets:
N.E. 59 Street (N.E. 2 Avenue to N.E. 4 Avenue)
N.E. 3 Avenue (N.E. 58 Terrace to N.E-. 59 Terrace)
Section 2. The aforesaid improvement shall include
clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic concrete pave-
ment consisting of 8-inch Limerock Base and a minimum of 11/2
inch asphaltic concrete surface course, concrete curb and
gutter, concrete valley gutter, monolithic concrete curb and
sidewalk, incidental sidewalk where needed, drainage facilities

Section 3. The aforesaid improvement shall be
designated in all proceedings and assessments as•N.E. 59TH
STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 and the •property against
• which special assessments shall be made for a portion ofthe
cost thereof hereunder shall be designated. as N. E. 59TH
STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4392.
• Section•4. Thesum of••$3,000.00 be, and is hereby, -
allocated from the Highway Bond Fund for preliminary. expense.
