wnnktAs, there exists a eontract dated October 1,
1973 between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers COmpany: and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required docu-
ments certifying that all bills for labor and materials have
been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held July 17, 1975 to
hear any objections to the completed improvements and no
objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Marks
Brothers Company for N. W. 9 STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT
SK-4334 - BID "E" be, and it is hereby, accepted at a total
cost of $5,057.00,
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay

ENCLOSURES -
Marks Brothers Company has completed the construction
of sidewalks along N.W. 9 Street between 44 and 45
Avenues. Thin work was done in conjunction With highway
work going; on at the same time
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met. The construction was completed
for $5,057, which was within the contract amount, and
it was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION
OF THE ATTACI-IED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $5,057 TO MARKS
BROTHERS COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF N.W.9 STREET
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-4334 - BID "E" IN N.W. 9 STREET
