ABTIREMENT SYSTBM.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8207 provides that the Board
of Trustees of the Miami City Employees' Retirement System
shall have the authority to employ attorneys to advise or
assist the board in the performance of its duties; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Miami City
Employees' Retirement System at their regularly scheduled
meeting on May 30, 1975, unanimously voted to employ Attor-
ney Edmond J. Gong to advise and assist the board
performance of its duties; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Edmond J. Gong has agreed to
provide legal services to the board at the public service
rate of $40.00 per hour; and
WHEREAS, the term of aforesaid agreement shall be
from month to month, so long as the parties are mutually
agreeable as to the terms and conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the employment of Edmond J. Gong
as attorney for the Board of Trustees of the Miami City
Employees' Retirement System, at the rate of $40.00 per hour,
for a term of month to month, providing that the terms and
conditions of the employment ac;reement remain mutually agree-
able to both parties, is hereby approved,
