The bid of ARA FOOD SERVICES for furnishing lunches at twenty-two (22) playgrounds, six days a week, through- out the City of Miami at a total expenditure of $116,626.20 is hereby accepted. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue purchase orders for same. This is the sixth year that the City of '?iami has participated in this Program. The Purchasing il.gent recommends that the award he made and a resolution oe prepared to ARA Food Services for furnishing 159,E00 lunches plus 3,0)0 supplements at a unit cost of 51.96per lunch and 14.46 per supplement, approximate total expenditure of 11G,52G.20. The Department of Parks and ^ecreation does not concur with this recommendation and recommends that the award be made to Dietcraft at a unit cost of G4c per lunch and 176 per supplement, approximate total expenditure, .5122,272.00.
