COST ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT TIE AMOUNT
OF $38,812.70 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT
EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE
AMOUNT OP $ 7 , 7 62.3 O TO 'COVER THE COST OF
ADVERT/SING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE:
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO'EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 22, 1975 for
the construction of GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT 8-4374 in
GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $388,127.00
bid of D.M.P. Corporation is the lowest responsive bid and
recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" for the amount of the
contract, for project expense; and for such items as advertising,
testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The May 22, 1975 bid of D.M.P. Corporation
in the amount of $388,127.00 for the project entitled GARDEN
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374, namely BID "E" (DRAINAGE) of
proposal, based on unit prices be, and the same is hereby,
accepted at the price stated therein.

Section 2. The amount of $ 88,127.00 be and it it
hereby allocated from the account entitled 'Storm Sewer toed
Futid" to cover the cost of the contract.
Section 3. The amount of $38i812.70 be and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost
of project expense which includes engineering, surveys and
inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The amount of $7,762.30 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and
postage.
Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of
Miami with D.M.P. Corporation for the construction of GARDEN
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 BID "E" (DRAINAGE) in GARDEN HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374 BID "E" (DRAINAGE).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12day of JUNE
1975.
