DISTRICT H-4374 BIRD b4' (LANDSCAPING)
ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT 'OP '$ 27 y 8440.00 PROM
THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED I GHWA t BOND Pt7NDS"
TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING
PROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT oP $2,784.00
TO COVER THE COST OP PROJECT EXPENSE;
ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OR+
$ 557. 00 TO COVER THE COST OP ADVERTISING,
TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE: AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH SAID PIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 22, 1975
for the construction of GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374
in GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the
$27,840.00 bid of Little Bird Nursery & Garden Store is
the lowest responsive bid and recommends that a contract
be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Highway Bond Funds" for the amount
of the contract, for project expense; and for such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The May 22, 1975 bid of Little Bird
Nursery & Garden Store in the amount of $27,840.00 for the
project entitled Garden Highway Improvement H-4374, namely
Bid "D" (Landscaping), of proposal, based on lump sum bid,
be and the same is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.

Section 2. The amount of $27,840.00 be, and it
is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Highway
toad Funds" to cover the cost of the contract.
Section 3. The amount of $ 2 , 84.00 be, and it
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The amount of $557.00 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories
and postage
Section_5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City
of Miami with Little Bird Nursery & Garden Store for the
construction of GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 BID "D"
(LANDSCAPING) in GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374
BID "D" (LANDSCAPING) .
