To EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on May 22, 1975
for the construction of GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374
in GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the
$395,405.00 bid of The Brewer Company of Florida, Inc. is
the lowest responsive bid and recommends that a contract be
awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "highway Bond Fund" for the
the contract for project expense; and for such items as
advertising, testing laboratories, and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The May 22, 1975 bid of The Brewer
Company of Florida, Inc. in the amount of $395,405.00 for
the project entitled' GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 in
GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374, namely. Bid
(Highways) of Proposal, based on unit prices be, and it is
hereby accepted at the price stated therein.

Section 2• The amount of $395,405,00 be,, end
it it herebyt allocated from the account entitled "'Highway
fond Fund" to cover the cost of the contract,
Section 3. The amount of $39, 54O.50 be, and it
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The additional amount of $4,908.50 be,
and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to
cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing
laboratories and postage.
Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of The City of
Miami with The Brewer Company of Florida, Inc. for the
construction of GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 BID "C"
(HIGHWAYS) in GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374
BID „C" (HIGHWAYS) .
