STATION) ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OP $300,500.00
PROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND" TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING
FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $30,050.00 TO
COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING
FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $b 010.00 TO
COVER THE COST OF ADVERTISING, TESTING
LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID
FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 22, 1975 for
the construction of GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385
C (centerline sewer) and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer), and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $300,500.00
bid of Anzac Contractors, Inc. is the lowest responsive bid
and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund" for the
estimated amount of the contract, for project expense; and for
such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The May 22, 1975 bid of Anzac Contractors,
Inc. in the amount of $300,500.00 for the project entitled
GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer)
and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer) , namely BID "B" (PUMP STATION)
of proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the same is hereby
accepted at the price stated therein.

Section 2. The amount of $300,500.00 be, and it is
hereby allocated from the account entitled "sanitary Sewer
Bond Fund' to cover the cost of the contract.
Section 3. The amount of $ 3O , 050 * 00 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost
of project expense which includes engineering, surveys and
inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The amount of $6,010.00 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and
postage.
Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of
Miami with Anzac Contractors, Inc. for the construction of
GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer)
and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer) BID "B" (PUMP STATION) in
GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5385 C (centerline
sewer) and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer) BID "B" (PUMP STATION).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12 day of JU1E 1975.
