WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on May 22, 1975 for the construction of GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer) and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $2,243,557.50 bid of Intercounty Construction Corporation is the lowest responsive bid and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund" for the amount of the contract, for project expense; and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1. The May 22, 1975 bid of Intercounty Construction Corporation in the amount of $2,243,557.50 for the project entitled GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5385 $ (sideline sewer), namely BID "A" (SANITARY SEWERS), of the proposal, unit prices be, and the same is hereby accepted at stated therein, 'DOCUMENT INDEX ITEM NOT based on the price a Sect .tin 2. The amount of $2, 243, SS7 .50 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Sanitary Sever Bond 't nd" to cover the coat of the contract. Section 3. The additional amount of $184,3SS.50 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces. Section 4. The additional amount of $34,871.00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage. Section 5 The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City o Miami with Intercounty Construction Corporation for the construc- tion of GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer), BID "A" (SANITARY SEWERS) in GARDEN SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5385 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5385 S (sideline sewer), BID "A" (SANITARY SEWERS) .
