HEREWITH; PROVIDING SEVERAEILITT?; AND RROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS there have been complaints of low water.
pressure during the games at the Orange Bowl Stadium. In an
attempt to improve the water service available new mains are
being provided which will extend around the north and south
sides of the structure; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the aforesaid work including
engineering and incidental expenses has been totalled at
$39,474.00 and funds are available for allocation from the
Orange Bowl Fund Balance; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of
peace, health, safety and property of the City of Miami that
the work be accomplished as expeditiously as possible and
that this Ordinance be adopted as an emergency measure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Appropriations Ordinance No. 8316
adopted October.10, 1974 is hereby amended to prov3.de for the
additional appropriation of $39,474.00 from the Orange Bowl
Fund Balance to cover the cost of the Orange Bowl Water
Improvements - 1975 as follows;

Section 2. All otdinanceS, code Sections or
parts thereof in conflict are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Any section, clause, or subsection
declared unconstitutional, shall not affect the remaining
provisions of this ordinance,
Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to
be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need
for the preservation of peace, health, safety and property
in the City of Miami.
Section 5. The requirement of reading this
ordinance on two separate, days is, hereby, dispensed with by a
vote of not less than four-fifthsof the Members of the
Commission.
Section 6. The provisions of ,this ordinance shall
become effective on Upon Publication , 1975.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY TITLE ONLY this 5 day of
JUNE
1975.
