Home My WebLink AboutR-75-0542RESOLUTION NO, /3=342 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED DUNE 23 1975 OF PRISA CORPORATION IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $595250 FOR THE VIRGINIA KEY FILL 1975; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $59,250 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "POLLUTION CONTROL & INCINERATOR FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $5,925 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE, ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $3,346 TO COVER THE COST OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, bids were received June2, 1975 for the VIRGINIA KEY FILL 1975; and WHEREAS, The City Manager reports that the $595250 bid of Frisa Corporation is the lowest acceptable bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Pollution Control & Incinerator Facilities Bond Fund" for the estimated amount of the Contract, for Project Expense; and for Incidental Expense. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the June 2, 1975 bid of Frisa Corporation in the estimated amount of $59,250 for the project entitled VIRGINIA KEY FILL - 1975, namely Bid Item of Proposal, based on unit prices be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the prices stated therein. Section 2. That the amount of $59,250 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Pollution Control & Incinerator Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract. Section 3. That the amount of $5,925 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys, and inspection work performed by City Forces, `DOCUMENT.
