A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THt PLAT ENTITLED SALAR
SUSD1V15ICN 1N THE CITY DP MIAMI, ACCEPTING THE
DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND ANTHtR12/NC
AND DIRECTING Tilt CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERN
TO EXECUTE THE PLAT.
WHEREAS, The City Zoning Board and the Department of
Public Works have recommended the aooeptahce of the Plat entitled
SALAR. SUBDIVISON; and
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1974, the City Commission
adopted Resolution No. 74-1318, closing for public use the North-
South Alley between N.W. 22nd Street and N.W. 23rd Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. The Plat entitled SALAR being a replat of
Block 2, of Resubdivision of Blocks 2-5-8-12 and 14, and parts
of Blocks 4-7 and 10 of JOHNSON E. WADDELL'S ADDITION to
City of Miami, Florida, Plat Book 6, Page 68, in Section 25,
Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County,
Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as
if fully
incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon
together with all existing and future planting, trees and
shrubbery on said property. to the perpetual use of the public,
be and the same are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City
of Miami, Florida.'
Section 2. Except for the construction of those
improvements provided for in the Agreement entered into between
the Owner and the Director of the Department of Public Works on
behalf of the City of Miami, Florida, dated March 24th, 1975,

ENCLOSURES:
The Proposed Record Plat entitled SALAR is located between
N.W. 22 Street and N.W. 23 Street from Miami Court to N.W. 1 Avenue
and is a replat of previously platted property. The purpose of this
plat is to close the North -South alley and consolidate the existing
Lots into three tracts. This property is zoned I=-1 and has a total
area of 2.16 acres. This plat is being forwarded to your office for
City Commission action.
The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works
recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami,
Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form.
Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present
the Plat to the City Commission of Miami:
(1) Form of Resolution accepting the Plat
(2) Print of proposed Record Plat
(3) Agreement form pertaining to subdivision improvements
(4) Opinion of Title
(5) Memorandum from the Department of Planning waiving
landscaping requirements
(6) Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority
waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances
(7) Portion of City Atlas Sheet No. 21 showing property platted
colored in red

SALAR
A SUEDI•VISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA

The accompanying Plat entitled SALAR was prepared by Garris
Engineers, Inc. It is in correct form for submission to the City
Commission and is forwarded With a recommendation that it be
approved.
PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT:
(1) The property platted is located between N.W. 22 Street and
N.W. 23 Street from Miami Court to N.W. 1 Avenue and is a
replat of previously platted property. The purpose of this
Plat is to close the North -South Alley and consolidate the
existing lots into three tracts. The property is zoned I-1
and has a total area of 2.16 acres.
(2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the
standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of
Miami, Florida.
As certified to by Milton B. Garris, Jr., Registered Land
Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of
the State of Florida.
(4) The City Planning and Zoning Board of Miami, Florida, after
Public Hearing, has recommended the closing of the North -South
Alley within this Plat. This action was confirmed by City
Commission Resolution No. 74-1318.
(5) By authority of Resolution No. ZB 212-74, adopted December 16,
1974, the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City
'Zoning Board of Miami
(6) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated June 18,
1974, signed by Antonio R. Zamora, Attorney, indicated that
the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly
vested in The Salvation Army, a Georgia Corporation; Miller,
& Mizrach Realty Company; Insurance Associates Agency, Inc.;
Joseph Pallant; Sarn Kallan and Lillian Kallan (wife) and the
Plat has been correctly executed by the above mentioned
Corporations and individuals.

The area platted is not encumbered by mortgages.
(8) In accordance with the requirements or Chapter 54, Section
54-20s of The Code of The City of r iam , a Performance t3ond
in the amount of $2,450.00 has been executed by The Salvation
Army, a Georgia corporation as Principal, and United States
Fidelity and Guaranty Company, as Surety. This t3ond and the
Surety's Power of Attorney will accompany the Agreement between
the City of Miami, and the Principal to guarantee the
construction of sidewalk curb and gutter at the property
platted.
Permanent type pavement, landscaping, storm drainage structures,
structures, sanitary sewers, water mains and services, and fill
will not be required. Sanitary sewers are available its the
vicinity of the property platted.
(10) The location of the property is shown colored in red on the
accompanying copy of a portion of City✓ of Miami Atlas Sheet
No. 21.

(11) The attached Form of Resolution has been prepared for the
acceptance of the Plat by the City Commission of Miami.
