FbI THE CONSTRUCTION OP A COMPORT STATION, EASRETSALLi AND TENNIS COURTS, BASEBALL FIELD AND WALKWAYS AT FERN ISLE SOUTH PORK PARK AT A TOTAL COST OP $106,000: PROVIDING POR ` PROJECT EXPENSES IN THE AMOUNT OP $10, 600 AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES IN THE AMOUNT DP $2,120; ALLOCATING THE NECESSARY PUWDS PROM THE 1972 PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND PUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OP?ICIALS OP THE CITY or MIAMI TO ISSUE PERMITS TO THE SUCCESSFUL. EIDER. WHEREAS, funds for the Construction of a comfort station, basketball and tennis courts, baseball field and walkways at Fern Isle South Fork Park are available from the 1972 Park and Recreational Facilities Bond Issue; and WHEREAS, the Department has advertised for bids on May lst, 1975; WHEREAS, bids were received on May 15th, 1975; and WHEREAS, the ty Manager recommends that W.F. Wynne Co., accepted as the bid of Inc. in the total amount of $106,000 be the bid most advantageous to the City; and WHEREAS, Project Expenses have been estimated in the amount of $10,600 and Incidental Expenses have been estimated in the amount of $2,120; and WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works has assured the City Commission that a Plat for Fern South Fork Park will be completed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The proper officials of the City Of Miami are hereby authorized and directed to allocate the necessary funds for the Fern Isle South Pork Part Project from the 1972 park and Recreational Facilities Bond Funds. FERN ISLE SOUTH FORK PARK. btVt ,b =TENT Resolution Accepting Rid and Allocating Fonds ENCLOSURE'S The Department of Parks and Recreation is planning to develop Fern Isle South Fork ?ark, located on the north side of N. W. llth Street just West of 22 Avenue. The Department of Public Works received bids on may 15, 1975 to construct a Comfort Station, Basketball and Tennis Courts, and a Baseball Field and Walkways, as part of this project As reflected in the attached tabulation of bids, the $106,000 bid of W. F. Wayne Co., Inc., was the lowest acceptable bid. THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF W.F. WYNNE CO., INC.
