WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 5, 1975 for the ATHALIE RANGE PARK NO. 1 - COMPORT STATION; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $20,369.00 bid of AD-A-LITE ELECTRIC, INC. is the lowest acceptable bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Public Parks'&.recreational-Facilities Bond,Fund" Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the cost of the Contract. for the amount of the Contract, for Project Expense;and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The May 5, 1975 bid of AD-A-LITE ELECTRIC, INC. in the amount of $20,369.00 for the project entitled ATHALIE RANGE PARK NO. 1 COMFORT STATION, namely Base Bid_of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the'price stated therein. Section 2. Bids were received May 5, 1975 to construct a comfort station and to install basketball backstops and volley- ball standards at Athalie Range Park No. 1, located on NIA llth Street under1-395. As reflected in the attached tabulation of bids, the $20,369 bid of Ad-A-Lite Electric, Inc. was the lowest acceptable bid. THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS `ADOPTION OF THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED MAY 5, 1975 OF AD-A-LITE ELECTRIC, INC.
