BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
Section 1e That the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a contract with the firm of
Touche Ross & Co. for the external, audit of the financial accounts,
records and fiscal affairs of the City of Miami for the fiscal
year ending
September 30, 1975.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 1975.

It is customary for the external auditor to begin prey
limitary auditing of the City's financial accounts and
records at this time of year.
As no auditor has been designated for the current fiscal
year, it is recommended that the City Commission appoint
the firm of Touche Ross & Co. to audit the financial
accounts, records and fiscal affairs of the City for
the fiscal year ending September 30, 1975 for the sum of
$18,000. That firm has performed the audit for more than
seven years.
A resolution has been prepared for the City Commission's
consideration and will be scheduled for the meeting of
May 22, 1975.
