THE CoMPREHENSIVE =NINO ORDINANCE PoR THE
CITY aP MIAMI, BY CfANOINO THE zoNING
CLASSIFICATION ON AREA BOUNDED BY N.W. 2ND
AND iRD AVENUES, AND N.W, AD AND STH STREETS,
BLoCR8 75N AND 88N, MIAMI (B=41), PROM C-h
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) AND R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY
MULTIPLE) . To GU (GOVERNMENT USE), . AND BY MARLING
THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING, DISTRICT
MAP, MADE A PART 01 THE SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
SECTION 2 THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, ORPARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT;.
AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its
15 meeting of March 5, 1975, Item No. 3, following an advertised
16 hearing, adopted Resolution No..PAB 18-75 by a 7 to O vote
17 recommending Change of. Zoning Classification as hereinafter
18 set forth; and
19 WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable in the best interest
20 of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants
21 to grant a change in zoning classification as hereinafter set
22 forth;
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
25 Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive

26 Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is
27 hereby amended by changing the zoning classification on area
28 bounded by N.W. 2nd-and 3rd. Avenues, and N.W. 3rd and 5th Streets,
29
Blocks 75N and 88N, MIAMI 0-41)'from C-4 (General Commercial)
30 and R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) to GU (Government Use), and
31 by making the necessary changes in the zoning district map made

to be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, .such holdinci
or invalidity shall not.affedt the remaining portions of this
ordinance; andit shall be construed to have been the intent
of the Commission of the City of Miami to pass this Ordinance
without such unconstitutional, invalid, or inoperative part
therein; and the remainder of this Ordinance, after the
exclusion of such part or parts, shall be deemed and, held to be
valid as ifsuch parts had not been included therein.

on property south of N.W. 20th Street, between N.W. 12th and 14th
Avenues, being NWa of NEa of NWT less N35' of Section 35, Township
53, Range 41, UNPLATTED, and Tract "A", MIAMI-MUNICIPAL TRACT (51-84),
from R-C (Residence Office) to GU (Government Use.)
No objections were received
in the mail.
An ORDINANCE to provide for this Change of Zoning has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.

Item #5(b), following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No.
PAB 21-75 by a 7 to 0 vote Recommending that Fire Station No. 5 be
permitted to be constructed as per plans on file on approximately
1200 N.W. 20th Street, being Portion of MIAMI MUNICIPAL TRACT (51-84),
as per Ordinance 6871, ARTICLE XXI-2,.Section 3(1), zoned R-C
(Residence Office) proposed to be rezoned GU (Government Use), subject
to approval by the Planning Department of the landscaping and fencing.
No objections were received
in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Government Use has been prepared by
the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
