SUCH ACTIVITY PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 74-191 (F.S.)
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERIC TO TRANSMIT Al
CERTIFIED COP`I! OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, ARTICLE VI/I, Section 1(h) of the Constitution
of the State of Florida provides that "property situate within
municipalities shall not be subject to taxation for services
rendered by the county exclusively for the benefit of the
property or residents in unincorporated areas."; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 74-191 (F.S.) provides that the City
Commission may, by resolution, identify a service rendered
specially for the benefit of the property or residents in un-
incorporated areas and financed from county -wide revenues and
petition the Board of County Commissioners to develop an
appropriate mechanism to finance such activity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners be,
and is hereby, petitioned to develop an appropriate mechanism
to finance the below listed services rendered specifically
for the benefit of the property or residents in unincorporated
