A RESOLUPION ACCEPTING THE BID OF W AP ERTROL MAINTENANCE
CORP. IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $6 3 950 FOR THE CITY HALL .
AIR CONDITIONING IMPROVEMENTS NTS . 1975; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
ON $65950 PROM SPECIAL REIMBURSEMENT FUNDS THE CITY HAS
RECEIVED UNDER THE LAW 92.500 "FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
ACT AMENDMENTS 1972" TO COVER TFIE ESTIMATED COST OF THE
CONTRACT; ALLOCATING ]FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $695 TO
COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING PROM SAID ACCOUNT
THE AMOUNT OF $200 '1O COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING a
TESTING LABORATORIES) POSTAGE, ETC.) AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT W1r8 SAID FIRM
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 7 1975 for
the CITY HALL - AIR CONDITIONING IMPROVEMENTS - 1975; and
WHEREAS, The City Manager reports that the $6,950 bid
of Weathertrol Maintenance Corp. is the lowest acceptable bid
recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm;
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
Special Reimbursement Funds the City has received under the
Law 92-500 "Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments -
for the estimated amount of the Contract, for Project Expense;
and for such items as Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage,
etc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the May 7,
1975 bid of Weathertrol
Maintenance Corp. in the estimated amount of $6,950 for the
project entitled CITY HALL - AIR CONDITIONING IMPROVEMENTS -
1975, namely Base
Proposal, based on lump sum bid be,
and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. That the amount of $6,950 be, and it
hereby, allocated from Special Reimbursement Funds the City
has received under Public Law 92-500 "Federal Water Pollution
Control Act Amendments 1972" to cover the estimated cost of the
Contract.

the cost of Project tltpense which includes engineering, surfeyt
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. That the amount of $ 200.. bey and

cost of such items as Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage,
etc.
Section 5 That the City Manager be, and he is hereby)
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of

CONDITIONING IMPROVEMENTS 1975.

at Which time and place they will be puhlicly opened and
read.
The job consists of providing and installing a 50,000
STU single package air conditioner, together with
necessary duct work.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the
Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Plans and
Specifications may be obtained from the Office of the
Director, Department of Public Works, 3332 Pan American
Drive, Miami, Florida. Plans and specifications are to be
returned in good order and unmarked within 30 days after
Bids have been received.
Proposal :includes the time of performance and Specifi-
cations contain provisions for liquidated damages for failure
to complete the work on time.
The City Commission reserves the right to waive any
informality in any bid, and the City Manager may reject any
or all bids, and re-advertise.-
