WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, bids were
received April 11, 1975 for the ORANGE BOWL ROLL -UP DOOR
REPLACEMENT - 1975 from eight (8) companies, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC.
responsive bid as follows:

Total $29,887.00
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. The bid received from BISCAYNE CONSTRUC-
TION, INC. in the amount of $29887.00 for the ORANGE BOWL -
ROLL -UP DOOR REPLACEMENT - 1975 be, and the same is hereby,
accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Department
to issue a Purchase Order for the aforesaid from funds to
be appropriated from the Orange Bowl Fund Balance.

grill -type overhead roll -up doors with new solid panel
doors and cut a new gate opening and install a solid
panel door, located in the peripheral wall of the Orange
Bowl Stadium.
An emergency ordinance will be passed at the May 8, 1975
meeting appropriating runds for this pro, ect from the
OranE�e Bowl Fund Balance,

19751 will be received by the City Manager and the City Clerk of
The City of Miami, Florida, not later than 2:00 r.m. l.D.S.T. on
the llth day of April, 19755 in the City Clerk1s office, First
Floor of the mi.ami. City Hall, 3500 Pan America- Drive, Dinner Key,
Miami, Florida 33133 at which time and place they Will be publicly
opened and read.
The job consists of replacing; twenty four (24) grill -type
overhead doors at the Orange Bowl with new solid panel roll -up
doors, Also, making a ne1•, door opening in existing b]ock wall
and .installing new solid panel roll -up door.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the
Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Plans and Specifica-
tions may be obtained from the Office of the Director, Department
of Public Works, 3332 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida. Plans
and Specifications are to be returned in good order and unmarked
within 30 days after Bids have been received.
Proposal includes thetimeof performance and Specifica-
tions contain provisions for liquidated damages for failure to
complete the 'work on time
The City Commission reserves the right to waive any in-
formality in any bid, and the City Manager may reject any or all
bids, and re -advertise.
