WHEREAS, Resolution No. 75-228 ordering WEST GRAPELAND
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer), passed and
adopted March 12, 1975, being declared null and void, shall be
rescinded; and
WHEREAS, a sanitary sewer improvement identified as WEST
GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline
sewer) shall be made under the provisions of Section 56 of the
Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, said IMPROVEMENT to
consist of
Laying an 8 inch or larger sanitary sewer pipe at or
near the center line of
NW 27 Court between NW 7 Street and NW 11 Street
NW 28 Avenue between NW 7 Street and NW 11 Street
NW 29 Avenue between NW 11 Street and, 170' ± North
of NW 11 Street
NW 30 Avenue between NW 7 Street and NW 11 Terrace
NW 30 Court between NW 7 Street and East-West X-way

land which abut upon the above mentioned streets, including the
following describes lots and parcels of land, and such lots and
parcels of land are hereby designated WEST GR''\PELA ID SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-•5387 C (centerline sewer) .
To each of the lots and parcels of land which abut
upon the above -mentioned streets, including the
following described lots and parcels of land to
the property line of which a sewer lateral or
laterals is laid, will be assessed the average
cost of that lateral or laterals, under the pro-
visions of Section 56 of the Charter Of the City
of Miami, as `amended

WHEREAS., this IMPROVEMENT shall be designated in
all proceedings and assessments as WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and the
described properties,
abutting the streets described in Section 2 hereof against which
assessments shall be made for a portion
of the cost thereof,
hereunder, shall be designated as WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR
5387 C (centerline sewer);
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE

Section 1. Resolution

adopted March 12, 1975, is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-5387 C (centerline
sewer) be, and the
same is, hereby ordered
designating the property against which Special Assessments shall be
made
for a portion of
the cost thereof as WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer).
Section 3. The amount of $50,000.00 to cover the cost
of preliminary expenses for said improvement be, and it is hereby,
cost
allocated from the Sanitary Sewer Bond fund to cover the
of preliminary expenses for said Improvement.

In a continuing effort to serve Miami, plans
specifications are being prepared for centerline and
sideline sewers in the area bounded by the East-West
Expressway, N.W. 27 Avenue, N.W. 7 Street and N.W.
37 Avenue (Douglas Road).
This area was previously ordered as a sanitary sewer
district by Resolutions No. 75-227 and 75-228, passed
and adopted by the City Commission on March 12, 1975.
Since then, a redesign of the district has made it
necessary to rescind the original resolutions.
To serve this area, the Department of Public Works has
redesigned the WEST GRAFELAND SANITARY SEWER-ItPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and SR-57)87 S
(sideline sewer) as an assessable improvement under Section
56 of the City Charter.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE
RESOLUTIONS RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 75-227 and 75-228;
AND REORDERING THE WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) 'and SR-5387`S
(side,l,1 e sewer).

The City Commission at their last meeting adopted a
Resolution ordering WEST G1APELAND SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-5387 C & S.
Will you please schedule the required public hearing
as to the confirming of this Resolution for the
first Commission meeting in June, (June 5, 1975), and
make the necessary arrangements for the public notice
to appear in the newspaper at the proper time.
The plans, specifications and estimates for this
improvement are filed in the Department -of -Public Works
instead of the City Clerk's office.
