THE SUPPORT OF' THE: CITY OF MIAMI TO T'IIE ENTIRE APPLI-
CATION OF THE CITY OF NORTH MIAMI FOR A FILL PERMIT IN
1'IIE EVENT THAT NEITHER OF THE ABOVE ALTERNATIVES I3E
GRANTE I),
WHEREAS, the City of North Jiatni has indicated to the City Commission
of the City of Miami that it has applied for permission to fill certain portions of the
land involved on approximately 350 acres of land previously acquired from the
Inter -American Center Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Florida State Cabinet will conduct a public hearing to
consider said application, and
WHEREAS, the City of North Miami has requested the City of Miami to
support its application,
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The policy of the City of Miami is hereby expressed that
if the Florida State Cabinet does not grant to the City of North Miami permission
to fill lands for which it has applied, then it compensate the City of North Miami
for those lands for which it has denied a permit to fill either financially or with
substitute land or require that the City of North Miami be so compensated by any
successor in title to the land owned by the Inter -American Center Authority.
Section 2. In the event that neither of the aforementioned alternatives
as expressed be granted to the City of North Miami, then support is given by the
Commission of the City of Miami to the application by the City of North Miami
to fill the land,
