Deceased The undersigned represents the Executrix and the devisees under.:. the tiaill of Fred Bailey, Deceased. Some ~0 years ago P~[r. Fred Bailey purchased the captioned property which was then, as it is now, zoned R-2. The devisees under Mr. Bailey's Will are the present owners of the property, which is unimproved, They have learned of the contemplated rezoning to R-1 of their property .Such rezoning would have .considerable adverse .effect on its value. It is the owners' understanding that only two or three unimproved lots, would be directly affected by the rezoning, all the remainder of the portion of Thomas Avenue concerned consisting of improved property. There appears to be no good reason why the East portion of Thomas Avenue is to be restricted to R-l, while all the remainder of said Avenue remains. zoned R-2. The proposed rezoning appears to be arbitrary and is rotconducive to an over-all improvement of the neighborhood. The owners of the captioned property strenously object to such rezoning. -It is respectfully submitted and urged that the planned partial rezoning of Thomas Avenue be rejected, or,-in the alternative, such property as has at the present time not yet been improved be'excepted therefrom.
