RESOLUTION NO.
75-412
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER
INTOAN AGREEMENT. BETWEEN THE CITY Or MTAMI
AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO PROVIDE FOR STORM SEWERS
FOR THE OMNI PROJECT (ALSO KNOWN AS PLAZA
VENETIA).
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of
Transportation does not have sufficient funds to construct that
certain project in the City of Miami, known as State Project
Number 87030-1512, State Road 5, Dade County, Budget Item
Number 142808; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of
Transportation has agreed that if the City will furnish the funds
necessary for the construction of said Project, the State of
Florida Department of Transportation will advertise for bids,
award a contract and supervise construction of the said Project;
and will also reimburse to the City sixty three percent (63%)
of the total money advanced as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
Agreements between the City of Miami and the State of Florida
Department of Transportation to provide for storm sewers for
the OMNI Project (also known as Plaza Venetia).
