RESOLUTION NO. 75-.4ll
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERt< TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI
AND OMNI INTERNATIONAL OF MIAMI, LTD. WHERE-
BY OMNI INTERNATIONAL AGREES TO PROVIDE THE
MAJOR PORTION OF THE FUNDS REQUIRED FOR STORM
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE OMNI' PROJECT (ALSO
KNOWN AS PLAZA VENETIA).
WHEREAS, the City of Miami and the State of
Florida Department of Transportation will enter into an
Agreement to provide storm sewers for the OMNI Project (also
known as Plaza Venetia); and
WHEREAS, the City and OMNI have agreed to
apportion between them the cost of said project, with OMNI
providing the major portion of the funds for said Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
an Agreement between the City of Miami and OMNI International
of Miami, Ltd. whereby OMNI International agrees to provide the
major portion -of the funds required for storm sewer improvements
for the OMNI Project (also known as Plaza Venetia).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of APRIL
1975.
