A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY BRANAM ELECTRIC CO., INC. AT
A TOTAL COST OF $28,980.00 AND ATJTHORIZING
A FINAL PAYMENT OF $28,980.00 FOR CLEMENTE
PARK BALL FIELD LIGHTING - 1974.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated November 25,
1974 between the City of Miami and BRANAM ELECTRIC CO., INC.;
and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and BRANAM ELECTRIC CO., INC. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract;
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by BRANAM
ELECTRIC CO., INC. for CLEMENTE PARK - BALL FIELD LIGHTING -
1974 be, and is hereby, accepted at a total cost of $28,980.00.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay BRANAM
ELECTRIC CO., INC. a balance of $28,980.00 as full and final
payment for all work performed and all materials furnished in

LIGHTING - 1974 - Resolution
Authorizing Final Payment
REFERENCES:
ENCLOSURES:
The removal of two wood poles and one concrete
pole, and installation of seven concrete poles
and 29 lights for the existing soft ball field
at Clemente Park has been completed. Clemente
Park is located at 101 N. W. 34th Street.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept
the completed work and authorize final payment,
after all conditions are met. The project was
completed for $28,980, which is within the contract
amount, and it was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION
OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $28,980 TO BRANAM
ELECTRIC CO., INC., FOR CLEMENTE PARK - BALL FIELD
LIGHTING - 1974.
