A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED
HUGHES FIRST, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AND ACCEPTING THE
DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZ-
ING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT.
WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of
Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat entitled
HUGHES FIRST; and
WHEREAS, all of the required subdivision improve-
ments on this property have been previously placed and accepted,
the requirements of State law and the Code of the City of Miami,
Florida as to improvements to be made in subdivisions has been
complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. the Plat entitled HUGHES FIRST, being a
resubdivision of part of Block 4, Gray Park (PB 10 Pg. 76) lying
in the S.E. 1/4, Section 1, Township 54S, Range 40 East, City of
Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part
hereof as if sully incorporated herein and the dedications as
shown thereon together with all existing and future planting,
trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the
public, be and the same are hereby accepted and confirmed by
the City of Miami, Florida.
Section 2. the requirements of State law concerning
the showing of grades of rights of way on the Plat are hereby
expressly waived.
Section 3, The City Manager and the City Clerk, both
of the City of Miami, Florida, are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the Plat.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of APRIL

Record Plat
The Proposed Record Plat entitled NUUS FIRST is a resubdivision
or previously platted lots, consolidated into one tract, having
a total areaof .158 of an acre and is zoned C-2. This plat is
being forwarded to your office for City Commission action.
The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works
recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami,
Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form.
Also attached are the followinr itemized papers necessary to present
the Plat to the City Commission or Miami:
(1) Form of Resolution acceptinr the Plat
(2) Print of proposed Record Plat
(3) Opinion of Title
()4) Memorandum from the Department of Planning pertaining
to landscapi.nc requirements
(5) Memorandum from the F:lami-Dade Water and Sewer Authority
waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances
(6) Portion of City At. Sheet No. 30 showing property platted

The accompanying Plat entitled HUGIIES FIRST was prepared by
Donald P. Ramsay. It is in correct form for submission to the City
Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved.
PERTINEl`:T INFORI•iATION REGARDING THE PLAT:
(I)
The property platted is located on the north side of
S.W. 8 Street: between S.W. 60 Avenue and S.W. 60 Court.
It is a resubdivision of previously platted lots,
consolidated into one tract, having a total area of
.158 of an acre and is zoned C-2.
(2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the
standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of
Miami, Florida.
(3) As certified to by Donald P. Ramsay, Registered Land Surveyor,
this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State
of Florida.
(4) By authority of Resolution No. ZB-73-71I , adopted May 20, 1974,
the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City Zoning Board
Of Miami.
(5) The attached Certificate or Title Examination dated April 26, 1974,
signed by Stanley M. Prod, Attorney, indicated that the fee simple
title to the property platted :i.s correctly vested in W. Paul Hughes
and Rosa T. Hughes, his :rife, and the Plat has been correctly
executed by Lhe aforementioned parties.
(6) The area platted has a long term lease and the :lessees have
executed the Plat and joined In its dedications.
(7) Prior to the recording of this Nat a building permit; has been
:issued by authority of Ox din::, !e No. 6871 Article IV, Sec' ion
11(5).
