RESOLUTION NO. 75-387
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $9,900.00 FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - UNALLOCATED
FUNDS FOR FURNISHING FENCING FOR MARINE
STADIUM DRY BOAT STORAGE AT A COST OF
$9,900.00.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 75-290 accepted the bid of
received February 25, 1975 of Dade Fence, Inc. for furnishing
fencing for Marine Stadium dry boat storage at a cost of
$9,900.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The sum of $9,900.00 is hereby allocated
from the Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated Funds for
furnishing fencing for Marine Stadium Dry Boat Storage at a
cost of $9,900.00.

Resolution 74-178, adopted March 14, 1974, approved in
principle the supplemental use of the Marine Stadium
complex, and authorized the City Manager to implement
those activities found to be feasible.
As part of this program the Commission passed, on first
reading, at its March 25, 1975, meeting, an ordinance
amending appropriation ordinance No. 831.E and appropri-
ating $9,900 to cover the cost of fencing for Marine
Stadium Dry Boat Storage.
:In view of the heavy demand for this facility it has
now been determined that it would be beneficial to the
City to enlarge on this program. An area southeast of
the grandstand has been designated to serve as additional
storage for two hundred (200) boats and trailers, bringing
the total_ to three hundred (300) . The cost of fencing the
additional area is $9, 000.
The Departm_ant. of Public Facilities recommends that the
Commission adopt an ordinance amending appropriations
ordinance No. 8316 by appropriating $18,900 from the
Marine Stadium Fund Balance to cover the costs of fencing
for the Marine Stadium. Dry Boat Storage.
Because of the time limit involved, and this facility wi11 be for the
public t,•elfare, it is requested that this ordinance be adopted as an
emergency measure.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED FROM
DADE FENCE, INC. FOR FURNISHING FENCING FOR
MARINE STADIUM DRY BOAT STORAGE AT A TOTAL
COST OF $9,900.00; ALLOCATING THIS AMOUNT
FROM THE MARINE STADIUM FUND BALANCE FOR THE
PUBLIC FACILITIES DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received February 25, 1975 for furnishing fencing for Marine
Stadium Dry Boat Storage for the Public Facilities Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty (20) potential
suppliers and five (5) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
received from DADE FENCE, INC. which is the most advantageous bid
to the City be accepted at a total cost of $9,900.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from DADE FENCE, INC. for
furnishing fencing for Marine Stadium Dry Boat Storage be, and
is hereby, accepted at a total cost of $9,900.00.
Section 2. The amount of $9,900.00 be, and is hereby,
allocated from the Marine Stadium Fund Balance for the Public
Facilities Department.
