WILLIAM SAWYER, JR . , FOR THE USE BY TtiE
C ITY OF MIAMI OF CERTAIN PARCEL OF L,N D,
OF MR . SAWYER'S PROPERTY, AS RECREATIONAL
FACILITY FOR ELDERLY CITIZENS OF THE
COMMUNITY; AND PROVIDING THAT AS ANNUAL
RENT FOR THE DEMISED PREMISES, THE CITY
OF MIAMI SHALL PAY WILLIAM SAWYER, JR.
A SUM EQUAL TO ALL CITY AND COUNTY TAXES
SHOWN ON THE COUNTY TAX ROLL OF DADE
COUNTY, THAT ARE T,F,VIED
AGAINST THE DEMISED PREMISES FOR EACH TAX
FISCAL YEAR OF THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT,
DURING THE FIRST AND LAST YEARS OF SUCH
TERM.
WHEREAS, WILLIAM SAWYER, JR. is the fee owner of certain
property situated in Miami, Florida, more particularly described
as Lot 20 less North 18 feet and all of Lot 19, Block 55, City
of Miami North 13/41; and
WHEREAS, the above -named person has expressed his desire
to enter into a lease agreement with the CITY OF MIAMI for the
use o.E said premises as a recreational facility; and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI desires to use said premises as
a recreational facility for elderly citizens of the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIANI , FLORIDA
Section 1. That the City Manager and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into a 5 year lease agreement
with WILLIAM SAWYER, JR., for the use by the City of Miami of
certain parcel O. land, of Jir. Sawyer's property, as recrea-
tional facility for elderly citizens of the community,
Section 2. That as annual rent for chi demised premises,

all City and County taxes shown on the County Tax Roll of Dade County,
that are levied against the demised premises for each tax fiscal year of the
term of the agreement, during the first and last years of such term.

the City of Miami shall pay WILLIAM SAWYER, JR, a sum equal to

levied - against the demised premises for each tax
fiscal year of the term of the agreement, during the first and
last years of such term.
