RESOLUTION NO. 75-167
A RESOLUTION PERMANENTLY GRANTING THE CON=-
DITIONAL USE ORIGINALLY GRANTED FOR A TWO
YEAR PERIOD TO THE "COMMODORES'
ROWING AND SAILING CLUB", ON LOT 4 AND OUTLOT
4, BLOCK 2, POINT VIEW AMD (2,,93)i SUBJECT TO
PARKING LAYOUT AS APPROVED BY PLANNING DEPART-
MENT, LOCATED AT 1402 SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE, IN
AN R-5 (HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE) DISTRICT,
SUBJECT TO DEDICATION OF NECESSARY RIGHT OF WAY
FOR STREET PURPOSES..
WHEREAS, after a two year trial period the
Commission finds that the "COMMODORES' ROWING
AND SAILING CLUB" has not adversely affected the public
interest, welfare, and safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Conditional Use originally granted
for a two year period to the "COMMODORES' ROWING
AND SAILING CLUB", on Lot 4 and Outlot 4, Block 2, POINT VIEW
AMD (2-93), subject to parking layout as approved by Planning
Department, located at 1402 South
(High Density Multiple) District,
necessary right of way for street
is hereby permanently granted.

On February 17, 1972, the City Commission granted Resolution
No. 43235, which reads as follows:
A resolution granting a "Conditional Use" as provided in
Ordinance 6871, ARTICLE X, Section 1 (6)(b), to permit operation
of private club, known as "Commodores' Rowing and Sailing
Club", on Lot 4 and Outlot 4, Block 2, POINT VIEW AMD (2-93),
for a two year period subject to parking layout as approved by
Planning Department, located at 1402 South Bayshore Drive,
in an R-5 (Iligh Density Multiple) District, subject to dedication
of necessary right of way for street purposes.
The Certificate of Use and Occupancy was issued by the Building
Department for this operation on March 1., 1973. It is therfore
suggested that this matted be placed on an early Commission
agenda for review, as the two year period will expire March 1,
1975.
The Law Department is requested to prepared a proper resolution
for this matter by copy of this memo.
