CHANGES IN TH8 ZONING DISTRICT MAP, MAD
A PART or SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871 BY REFER-
ENCE AND DESCRIPTION ;IN ARTICLE III, SEC-
TION 2.THEREOF; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE
SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT, INSO-
FAR AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT; AND CONTAINING
A SEVERABILITY PROVISION;. AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Miami,Planning Advisory Board at its meeting
of February.5th, 1975, Item#E following an advertised hearing
adopted Resolution No. PAB 10-75 by a 7 to 0 vote recommending a
change. of zoning classification as hereinafter set forth; and;
WHEREAS,•the City Commission finds it advisable and
inthe best interest of the City of Miami andits inhabitants to
change the zoning classification as hereinafter set forth;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section-1. That.Ordinance.No. 6871, the Comprehensive
zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be'and the same is.here
by amended by changing the zoning from R-2 (two-family),.,
C-2 (community -commercial), And C-.4 (gen
eral-commercial) to C-2A (special community commercial) for those
areas of the'Central Grove District as shown on the map attached
hereto as t»C11ibit "A" and made a part hereof by making the neces-
sary, changes in the zoning district map, made a part of said

$ection.�� If any sectioh, sentence, Clause, phrase,
or Word of this ordinance is for any reason held or declared to
be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding or ihval-
idity shalt not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance;
and, it shall be construed to have been the intent .of the Commission
of the City of Miami to pass this ordinance without such uncon-
stitutional, invalid, or inoperative part therein; and the remain-
der of this ordinance, after the exclusion of such part or parts
shall be deemed and held to be valid as if such parts had not been
included therein.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective thirty.
(30) days after its passage.

Certain properties within the
Coconut Grove Village Center
to the proposed C-2A District
Initiated by Planning Department
The Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting of February 5, 1975,
Item #7, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No.
PAB 12-75 by a 7 to 0 vote Recommending Change of Zoning Classification
for the Coconut Grove Village Center from their present zoning
classifications to C-2A (Special Community Commercial), as shown
on the attached map.
An ORDINANCE to provide for these Changes of Zoning has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.

7. Proposal by the City of Miami Manning Department
to Change the Zoning Classification of certain
properties within the Coconut drove Village Center
to the proposed C-2A District (reconsideration).
Secretary filed proof of publication of Legal Notice of Hearing, •
and administered oath to all persons testifying at r:his Hearing.
Mrs. 1ockafeliar: la there anyone wishing to speak for or
against this Ordnance'? Being none, we will close the Public Hearing
and the Chair will entertain a motion.
Mrs. Fernandez: Mme. Chairman, suppose that we recommend to
the City Commission the Change of Zoning Classification to the
previously approved C-2A.District to the Coconut Grove area
designated in the plan attached to the Agenda which should be made
part of our recommendation.
Mrs. Rockefeller: There's a motion on the floor.
Mr. Dannenberg: I second the motion.
Mrs. Fernandez offered the following resolution, and moved
its adoption:
