RESOLUTION NO,.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF MIAMI FIRE
EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR FURNISHING BREATHING
APPARATUS PARTS FOR THE RESCUE DIVISION OF THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT, AT A TOTAL COST OF $7,391.00:
AUTHORIZING AND•DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE A
PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING 1974=75 BUDGET,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received March 11, 1975 for furnishing breathing apparatus
parts for the Rescue Division of the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to ten (10) potential
suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Miami Fire Equipment Company, in the total amount of
$7, 391.00, be accepted as the bid most advantageous to
the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received March 11, 1975 from Miami
Fire Equipment Company for furnishing breathing apparatus
parts for the Rescue Division of the Fire Department, at a
total cost of $7,391.00 is hereby accepted as the bid most
advantageous to the City.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue
a purchase order for this material, allocating funds from
