A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HIGHWAY RIGHT OF
WAY DEED EXECUTED BY TRA DEVELOPMENT CORPORA,.
TION ON DECEMBER 9, 1974, CONVEYING FOR HIGHWAY
PURPOSES 16,358 SQUARE FEET OF UNPLATTED LAND
CONTAINED IN A STRIP OF VARIOUS WIDTHS ALONG
THE NORTHERLY PORTION OF N,E., 83RD STREET,
RUNNING EAST FROM THE WEST LINE OF LOT 33 OF
ADEMAR PARK (7-57) FOR A DISTANCE OF 620
FEET; AND DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI TO RECORD SAID DEED IN THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami requires a dedication of
various widths of land along the north side of N.E. 83rd
Street from the west line of Lot 33 of Ademar Park (7-57) to
a point 620 feet, easterly thereof, to bring the street to its
fully zoned width; and
WHEREAS, the City's acquisition of this land would
also clear the way for its Baycrest Highway Improvement H--4373
which calls for the rebuilding of N.E. 83rd Street from N.E.
l0th Avenue to its easterly terminus; and
WHEREAS, the owner, TRA Development Corporation,
executed and delivered to the City of Miami a highway right of
way deed for the required land, when informed that the City of
Miami would bear 75% of the total assessment charge for the
improvements abutting its property; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the value of this
dedicated land exceeds the cost to the City for this
improvement; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission
to accept the aforesaid deed and to have it recorded in the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Highway Right of Way Deed executed
by TRA Development Corporation on December 9, 1974, conveying
for highway purposes 16,358 square feet of unplatted land
contained in a strip of various widths along the northerly
portion of N.E. 83rd Street, running east from the west line
of Lot 33 of Ademar Park (7-57) for a distance of 620
feet, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The proper official of the City of Miami
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to record the
aforementioned right of way deed in the Public. Records of
Dade County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10 day of 'APRIL

ENCLOSURCB:
The City of Miami requires a dedication of various widths of land along
the North Side of N.E.83rd Street from the West Line of Lot 33,
ADEMAR PARK (7-57) to a point 620 ± feet easterly thereof. The purpose
of this dedication is to bring the street to its fully zon►:d width.
The City's acquisition of this land would also clear the way for its
BAYCREST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4373 that is presently under construction.
When contacted for a dedication of the aforesaid land, and upon being
informed that the City would bear 75% of the assessment charge for the
improvements abutting this property, the owndr agreed to dedicate the
required land, resulting in the execution and delivery of a Highway
Right of Way deed to the City of Miami.
It is estimated that the value of the dedicated land exceeds the City's
cost of the improvement. It is now in order for the City Commission to
accept the aforesaid deed and to have it recorded in the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE HIGHWAY RIGHT OF WAY DEED EXECUTED BY TRA DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES A STRIP
OF LAND OF VARIOUS WIDTHS ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF 83RD STREET FROM THE
WEST LINE OF LOT 33 OF ADEMAR PARK (7-57) TO A POINT 620 + FEET EASTERLY
THEREOF; AND DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO
RECORD SAID DEED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
