A RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION
OF THE VARIANCE GRANTED ON THE PROPERTY AT
2000 S.W, 17TH AVENUE BY ZONING BOARD
RESOLUTION NO, ZB 111.74,
WHEREAS, Article XXXI, Section 3(2) of Ordinance
No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of
Miami, permits an extension of a variance by the City Manager,
with approval by the City Commission, for a period of one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for a one year extension
of the variance granted on the property at 2000 S.W. 17th
Avenue by Zoning Board Resolution No. ZB 111-74 be, and the
same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10 day of APRIL
1975.

ENCLOSURE$:
The attached letter from Mr. Luis Jose Dominguez, President,
Jaragua Enterprises, Inc., to you, was delivered to our office.
The variance referred to was granted by the Zoning Board on
July 15, 1974, by Resolution ZB 111-74, and would have normally
expired in 6 months on January 15, 1975.
Discussion with the Law Department has revealed that they would
have no objection to the extension of this variance for a period
of up to one year, as permitted by Ordinance 6871, 1\.'rICLE XXXI,
eve;. chough the normal application period has expired, as extensions
of this type have been granted before.
Therefore, this Department suggests that this matter be placed on
an early Commission agenda, for the Commission approval of your
action.
By copy of this memorandum, the Law Department is requested to
prepare the proper Resolution for this action.
