RESOLUTION NO, 75 309
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
FIRE STATION NO, 5 AS PER PLANS ON FILE ON
APPROXIMATELY 1200 N.W. 20T8 STREET, BEING
PORTION OF MIAMI MUNICIPAL TRACT (51-84), AS
PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO, 6871, ARTICLE XXI-2,
SECTION 3(1), ZONED R-C (RESIDENCE OFFICE)
PROPOSED TO BE REZONED GU (GOVERNMENT USE),
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
OF THE LANDSCAPING AND FENCING.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its
meeting of March 5, 1975, Item No. 5(b), following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 21-75 by a 7 to 0 vote
recommending that Fire Station No. 5 be permitted to be con-
structed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the best
interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to approve the construction of Fire Station No. 5
as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The construction of Fire Station No. 5
as per plans on file on approximately 1200 N.W. 20th Street,
being portion of MIAMI MUNICIPAL TRACT (51-84), as provided
in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE XXI-2, Section 3(1), zoned
R-C (Residence Office) proposed to be rezoned GU (Government
Use), subject to approval by the Planning Department of the
landscaping and fencing, be and the same is hereby approved.
