IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,735.00 FOR THE ORANGE BOWL PLAYGROUND DEVELOPMENT r 1975; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $22,73500 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE CON -- TRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $2,273.50 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $454.50 TO COVER THE COST OF ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on March 4, 1975 for the ORANGE BOWL PLAYGROUND DEVELOPMENT - 1975; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $22,735.0° bid of P. J. Constructors, Inc. is the lowest responsive bid received by the City and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" for the amount of the Contract, for project expense; and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The March 4, 1975 bid of P. J. Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $22,735.00 for the project entitled ORANGE BOWL PLAYGROUND DEVELOPMENT - 1975, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein. The Amount of $22,735,00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract. Section 3. The amount of $2,273.50 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces. Section 4. The amount of $454.50 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage. Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of the City of Miami with P. J. Constructors, Inc. for the ORANGE BOWL PLAY- GROUND DEVELOPMENT - 1975.
