A RESOLUTION GRANTING FREE USE OF THE
MARINE STADIUM BY THE MARINE COUNCIL
OF GREATER MIAMI ON SATURDAY, JUNE 7,
1975 FROM 10:00 A,M, TO 12:00 NOON
FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE ANNUAL
"SEA CIRCUS" EVENT, CO -SPONSORED BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI, SUBJECT TO THE
MARINE COUNCIL OF GREATER MIAMI OBTAIN-
ING LIABILITY INSURANCE IN SUCH AMOUNTS
AND CARRIERS AS THE CITY MANAGER DEEMS
APPROPRIATE FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE
CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is the co-sponsor with
the Marine Council of Greater Miami in the presentation of
the annual "Sea Circus" event; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami, in the past, has
given use of the stadium, administrative staff, communication
technicians, sound engineers and other related services free
of charge, excluding charges for insurance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Free use of the Marine Stadium by the
Marine Council of Greater Miami be, and is hereby, granted
for Saturday, June 7, 1975 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon for
the presentation of the annual "Sea Circus" event, co -sponsored
by the City of Miami.
Section 2. The Marine Council of Greater Miami
be, and is hereby, ordered to obtain liability insurance in
such amounts and with such carriers as the City Manager
deems appropriate for the protection of the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this25 day of MARCH
1975.

"Sea Circus"

On February 18, 1975, the Marine Council of Greater Miami.
requested free use of the Miami. Marine Stadium for the 13th
Annual showing of the "Sea Circus".
For the past twelve years, the City of Miami has co -sponsored
this event with the Marine Council of Greater Miami, providing
free use of the Miami Marine Stadium, assistance of the
Administrative Staff, Communications Technicians, and other
event personnel.
The Marine Council accepts. the responsibility for the liability
insurance fee.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC FACILITIES RECOMMENDS
THAT THE COMMISSION ADOPT THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION
GRANTING FREE USE OF THE STADIUM FOR PRESENTATION
OF THE 13TH ANNUAL "SEA CIRCUS".

Dear Mr. Andrews:
It is our desire to have the Marine Stadium for the
holding of the ] 3th Annual "Sec Circus", on Saturday,
June 7, 1975 from 10:00 A. M. to 1 2:00 Noon.
As in the past the City as a co-sponsor of this event, has
given the use of the Stadium free of charge along with the
help of the administrative staff, the communications
technicians, sound engineers and other services relative
to this event, r:ithout cost. We accept responsibility of
your charge of approximately $35. 00 for insurance which
will be paid upon receipt of the invoice.
We ]lope that you will be able to present this to the
Commission at the earliest possible moment. We wish to
thank you fur the wonderful cooperation we have had in this
event throughout the past 12 years.
