RESOLUTION NO. 75-269
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK PERFORMED
BY DOCK & MARINE CONSTRUCTION, INC., AT A TOTAL
COST OF $8,560.00 AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT
OF $8,560.00 FOR rHE COCONUT GROVE MARINA -
MODIFICATIONS 1974,
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 2, 1975
between the City of Miami and Dock & Marine Construction,
Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Dock & Marine Construction, Inc. has furnished the re-
quired documents certifying that all bills for labor,
materials, etc., have been paid in full in connection with
the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the De?artment of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Dock &
Marine Construction, Inc. for COCONUT GROVE MARINA -
MODIFICATIONS - 1974 at a total cost of $8,560.00 be and it
is hereby accepted.
Section 2. the proper officials of The City of Miami
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay
Dock & Marine Construction, Inc. a balance of $8,560.00 as
full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with the COCONUT GROVE

REFERENCES
ENCLOSURES.
Dock & Marine Construction, Inc. has completed the
removal of two deteriorated piers and numerous piling;
from the Coconut Grove Marina area and reinstalled some piling
on Pier 5 at the Dinner Key Marina.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions. are
met. The construction was completed for $8,560, which was
within the contract amount, and it was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION OF
THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ;OMPLETED WORK AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $8,560. TO DOCK & MARINE
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE COCONUT GROVE MARINA - MODIFICA-
TIONS - 1974.
