RESOLUTION NO. 75-267
A RESOLUTION ORDERING SAN MARCO HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-4368 AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST
WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A
PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS SAN MARCO HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4368; AND ALLOCATING THE
AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 FROM THE HIGHWAY BOND FUND
FOR PRELIMINARY EXPENSE.
WHEREAS, drainage facilities on NE. 12 Place, NE 13
Court, and NE 13 Place are non-existent causin.2 water to
stand after heavy rains; and
WHEREAS, the existing street elevations are low and
standing water conditions have deteriorated the existing
pavement; and
WHEREAS, petitions have been received from property
owners on each street to construct new pavement and drainage
facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local Improvement described as SAN MARCO
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4368 shall be made under Section 56
of the Charter of the City of Miami as amended located on
the following streets:
NE 12 Place (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
NE 13 Court (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
NE 13 Place (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
All on San Marco Island
Section 2, This Improvement shall include clearing and
grading, construction of asphaltic concrete pavement con-
sisting of 8" limerock base and a minimum of 1 inch asphalt
concrete surface course, concrete curb and gutter, drainage

facilities, and landscaping as specified and described in
the Standard City of Miami Specifications for Public Works
Projects.
Section 3. This Improvement shall be designated in
all proceedings and assessments as SAN MARCO HIGHWAY IM-
PROVEMENT H-4368 and the property against which special
assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost thereof,
hereunder shall be designated as SAN MARCO HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4368.
Section 4. The sum of $5,000.00 from the Highway Bond
Fund for Preliminary Expense be and the same is hereby
allocated.

ENCLOSURES:
Plans and specifications are being preparEd to construct
approximately 720 lineal feet of streets on San Marco
Island as follows:
NE 12 Pl. (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
NE 13 Ct. (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
NE 13 P1. (S. Venetian Way to N. Venetian Way)
The Improvement shall include clearing and grading,
construction of asphaltic concrete pavement consisting of
8 inch limerock base and 1 inch asphaltic surface course,
concrete curb and gutter, landscaping and drainage
facilities including an outfall system. The approximate
cost of this Improvement is estimated to be $250,000 and
funds are available from the Highway Bond Fund and Storm
:Sewer Bond Fund.
