A Mr. Steve Sussman, 1325 N. E. 1 Avenue, telephone 667-7211,
wanted to register his support for removal of stop signs
on Alatka Street. The issue is on the Commission Agenda this
week.
He said they certainly cause traffic slowdowns and are hazard-
ous. He regretted having to be out of town this coming Com-
mission day but wanted to make his point by telephone to the
Mayor's Office.

Dear Sir:
I am unable to attend the Com-
mission meeting on Wednesday morning
and should like to regist my approval
of the continuation of the stop signs
on Alatka Street at Nocatee & Micanopy.
I also hope that you will keep the
four-way stop signs at Tigertail and
Alatka.
These signs have contributed
safety to these formerly hazardous
corners, and the seconds required to
stop and start are well worthwhile.
