THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA!
Section 1. That a permit be, and it is hereby authorized to be issued
to St. Mary's Cathedral School for amu er ent rides at 7455 Northwest 2nd
Avenue on March 21, through 23, 1975, :::eject to the following terns and
conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established for a period
exceeding seven days, nor shall any one location
be used more often than once a year.
2. The operators of the amusement: rides shall obtain
the necessary licenses, permits and Certificates of
Use.
3. Small tents shall be pert?mitted only to carry on ride
activities.
4. The operators of the amusern nt rides will provide separate
sanitary facilities for bu'th ?:tali' and iemale patrons.
5. The o:Derato.rs and employees of the rides will not
domicile on t:heproperty.
6. No alcoholic beverages may be sold on the premises.
7. The City of Miami Police Department will be contacted
and the number of off -duty :)o1icemen that the Depart-
ment feels are necessary to direct traffic and provide
for security will be employed by the permit holder.

The application for a carnival to be held on St. Marv's
Cathedral School grounds March 21st through March 23rd, 1975
has been received and it complies with the requirements of
Ordinance #7716.
The sponsor's attorneys, Birmelin and Birmelin have been
informed of the City of Miami Police Department's approval
and have received a list of said requirements.
We recommend this item be placed as a special item on the
Agenda of March 12, 1975. This recommendation was cie1ayed
in reaching you due to the recent death of the Zoning
Inspector who was handling carnivals.
