RESOLUTION NO ,75 2_57._.
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY
AND CONDOLENCES OF THE MAYOR AND COMMIS=
SIONERS IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO THE FAMILY OF THE
LATE JACK SILVERMAN WHOSE RECENT .PASSING
HAS DEPRIVED THIS COMMUNITY OF A MOST RESPEC-
TED CITIZEN,
WHEREAS, JACK SILVERMAN, arrived in this community
in 1944, having moved here from New York; and
WHEREAS, JACK SILVERMAN, was a member of the City
of Miami Planning and Zoning Board for 8 years, serving in an
outstanding manner from 1957 until 1965; and
WHEREAS, JACK SILVERMAN, was a member of the Loyal
Order of the Moose, and additionally was politically active in
the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Mayor, City Commissioners in
addition to all the employees of the City of Miami, hereby
express deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of
the late JACK SILVERMAN whose passing has deprived this community
of a most respected citizen.
