A RESOLUTION PERMITTING FREE USE OF WATSON
ISLAND FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL FIESTA FOR
MIGRANT FARM WORKERS TO BE HELD ON APRIL 27,
1975, between 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.:
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF FOOD, BEVERAGES AND
ARTS AND CRAFT ITEMS; FURTHER AUTHORIZING
THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF A
TEMPORARY BARBECUE GRILL: SUBJECT TO ADVANCE
PAYMENT FOR EVENT PERSONNEL, INSURANCE AND
OTHER DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE CITY,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Free use of Watson Island for the
Second Annual Fiesta for Migrant Farm Workers be, and is here-
by, authorized for April 27, 1975, between 10:00 A.M. to
7:00 P.M.
Section 2. The construction and operation of a
temporary barbecue grill be, and is hereby, authorized, and
permission to sell food, beverages and arts and crafts is
hereby granted.
Section 3. Advance payment for event personnel,
insurance and other direct costs borne by the City is required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12 day of MARCH
1975.
