RESOLUTION NO. 75-247
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTRIBUTION
OF $7,500 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE
CHARLES IVES CENTENNIAL FESTIVAL,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The contribution of $7,500 from the
Contingency Fund to the Charles Ives Centennial Festival is
hereby authorized.

Charles Ives Centennial Festival
During October 17, 1974 Budget hearings, Dr. F. Warren O'Reilly appeared
before the City Commission requesting funding for the Charles Ives Festival.
That appearance was culminated with the Commission assuring Dr. O'Reilly
that efforts would be made to assist in funding of the Festival.
Should it be the desire of the Commission to formalize the City's intent to
assist this program, it is recommended that the attached proposed resolution
be adopted authorizing the contribution of $7, 500 from the Contingency Fund
to the Charles Ives Centennial Festival.
