Title VI Program Operation
1
The enclosed resolution is proposed to ratify the operation of the Miami
Temporary Public Service Jobs Program under Title VI of the compre-
hensive Employment and Training Act as amended.
Your approval will enable the City to meet the legal requirement to obtain
$1, 700, 000 for approximately 200 full-time job slots through February 1976.
The program participants are almost entirely City residents and their labor
will enable the various City departments to expand or improve services to
the taxpayer.
