RESOLUTION NO. 7470
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY GARCIA ALLEN CONSTRUCTION CO.,
INC., AT A TOTAL COST OF $209,721,05 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $21,075.15
FOR THE TRAIL VIEW HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4366 (storm sewer portion) IN TRAIL VIEW
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4366 (storm
sewer portion) .
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 11,
1974 between the City of Miami and Garcia Allen Construction
Co., Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Garcia Allen Construction Co., Inc. has furnished the
required documents certifying that all bills for labor and
materials have been paid in full in connection with the afore-
said contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made
to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Garcia
Allen Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of TRAIL
VIEW HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4366 (storm sewer portion) at a
total cost of $209,721.05 be, and is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
be, and they are, hereby authorized and directed to pay Garcia
Allen Construction Co., Inc. a balance of $21,075.15 as full
and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with TRAIL VIEW HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT

Garcia Allen Construction Co. , Inc. h-ts, completed the
storm sewer portion of Trail View Highway Improvement.
`I-436r�. ;Storm sewer's were constructed in the vicinity
or :SW 9 Street, SW 10 Street, and SW llth Street between
sW 4 Avenue and SW 8 Avenue.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final. payment, a?ter all
conditions are met . The construction was completed Cep
:!,109,771.05, which was within the contract amount, and
it was completed on time.
