WHEREAS, it is necessary to remove the existing
spiral ramp deck at the Orange Bowl and replace it with a
new deck; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the aforesaid work, including
engineering and expenses in connection with same totals
$95,073.00 and funds are available for allocation from the
Orange Bowl Fund Balance; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of
peace, health, safe',:y and property of the City of Miam.i that
the work be accomplished as expeditiously as possible;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT CRDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIA.MI , FLORIDA
Section 1. 7:pprop::iation Ordinance No. 8316
adopted October 10, 1974 be, and the same is hereby, amended
to provide for the additional appropriation of $95,073.00
from the Orange Bowl Fund Balance to cover the cost of the
Orange Bowl Spiral Ramp Deck Replacement.- Phase 4 - 1975
as recommended by the City Manager.

Section
Should any part of ptovisioh of this
ordinance be dedieted by,a court, of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid; the same shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole.
Section 3. All ordinances, code sections or parts
thereof in conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict,
are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to
be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need
for the preservation of peace, health, safety and property..
in the City of Miami.
Section 5. The. requirement of reading this
ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a
vote of notless than four -fifths of the Members of the
Commission.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall.
become effective on UPON PUBLICATION
